You are getting so close!

I haven't been writing at all, so unusual for me, and I'm getting quite anxious about it.

We move to our new home in 10 days!Danika Dinsmorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06472222686878922186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8495862966543058553.post-31040127622458050022007-11-19T06:53:00.000-05:002007-11-19T06:53:00.000-05:00Vicky, thanks - nice to make contact;quality rathe...Vicky, thanks - nice to make contact;
quality rather than quantity may be the issue with me, but you're right!

I need to find a way to describe where I am with writing - I like your term aspiring writer; beginner is accurate in that I'm not professionally published but the BBC did do a documentry on a war veteran's bio I did some years ago.(unsolicited); so I don't know whether I class as a writer or not!

I journal regularly and if you look at Dark Gold in The Journey blog, I also have written a few one off creative pieces for fun.
Have roughed out longer work.

Need to come back and look through yours more carefully - so many blogs, so little time....!virtual nexushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11955335598875413324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8495862966543058553.post-6695359810126350452007-11-19T06:28:00.000-05:002007-11-19T06:28:00.000-05:00Thanks Bill, it's good to be back. :)Hi Julie - we...Thanks Bill, it's good to be back. :)

Hi Julie - welcome to my little corner of the blog world. We have all been beginners and in some ways we always will be. There is so much to learn about our craft. Even the very seasoned writers that I know will learn something new at workshops and so forth.

I'm glad you liked the 100x100. It's a great way to spring board your writing everyday. I love the fact that you don't ever feel overwhelmed when you sit down since 100 words is not hard to do.

A big piece of advice is to allow yourself to write POS since you can always go back and fix it. A blank page...not so much.

Good luck with your writing and I can't wait to see what you do. Hope you come back often. I'm on my way to your site now. :)Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04521384704019863926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8495862966543058553.post-54121957889359391942007-11-18T17:08:00.000-05:002007-11-18T17:08:00.000-05:00Hi Vicki -You may have picked up from Bill's blog ...Hi Vicki -

You may have picked up from Bill's blog that I'm a beginner; just wanted to say that I found your passing comment on how you divide up your time (on 100 words)was a helpful suggestion - ie, writing in the morning and reading after. Case of knowing where to start making a schedule. Fortunately my offspring are at uni!

All the best,
Julievirtual nexushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11955335598875413324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8495862966543058553.post-36513462132947023622007-11-17T11:58:00.000-05:002007-11-17T11:58:00.000-05:00Yay!
