I wanted to know what each days count is and then I can get an average daily word count for the week.

Openchannel - I didn't know that a page equals 1 minute. Wow. See, that's why I'm sure I could never write a screenplay. Your word count is great though. Mega Congrats!

December - Thanks so much. I'm loving this and it's working so far. :)

My cp is guest blogging today so come back by and check it out.Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04521384704019863926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8495862966543058553.post-34372162599514241402007-06-26T05:56:00.000-04:002007-06-26T05:56:00.000-04:00Excellent progress, congrats!Excellent progress, congrats!Staciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07969399927758009095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8495862966543058553.post-36211320418962422032007-06-26T02:49:00.000-04:002007-06-26T02:49:00.000-04:00Well this should be interesting... I'm working on ...Well this should be interesting... I'm working on a screenplay right now, not a novel. There's no "word count" function in Final Draft, so I had to cut and paste it all into a Word Doc to find out. It came to 7,345 words so far.

In screenwriting, no one asks you what your word count is. Never. Screenwriting format is very particular and you must write your script in the proper format. One page of script = one minute of screen time. I know it seems crazy that it could work that way but it does.

But I'll definitely play along with the 100 words for 100 days. I've been going for 14 days so far. I'm curious as to how many words a script might have.Danika Dinsmorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06472222686878922186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8495862966543058553.post-45247519098806259972007-06-25T22:01:00.000-04:002007-06-25T22:01:00.000-04:00I haven't been keeping track other than to say I'v...I haven't been keeping track other than to say I've done my 100+. Guess maybe I should try to quantify things. Of course with all the rewrites I do, I won't make much actual progress... :)Alyssa Goodnighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12563271888054706202noreply@blogger.com
