The Accidental Demon Slayer Giveaway...

Hey All,
Just wanted to let you know Angie has offered to send an autographed cover flat and maybe some bookmarks for the winner. How cool is that!!!

She'll also stop by throughout the week to answer any questions, so keep them rolling.

WW's and PD's,
Vicki

Wow! I have so been wanting to read this book. Btw, the little dog in the story, did you get inspiration from a dog of your own? And if you did, can you tell us about him/her?!

You guessed it. Pirate was inspired by a real dog - two of them, actually. Growing up, my family and I would play with our toy poodle, Frosty, and make up stories of what was probably going on in his head.

Then after college, I had a poodle named Beau and he had a lot of opinions. An animal can give you that look and you know what they're thinking.

In The Accidental Demon Slayer, I simply took away that barrier. Thanks to her unholy powers, Lizzie can hear what her dog has to say.

In fact, she asks him why he started talking and his response is, "I've always talked. Why'd you start listening?"

I already won Angie's book on another blog. I loved it!!!! I stayed up waaaay too late to finish reading it.

Angie, will there be anymore stories with these characters?

Hi Jill, I'm so tickled that you enjoyed the book. And I'm wrapping up the second book right now.

It's called The Dangerous Book for Demon Slayers and it follows Lizzie and the gang to Las Vegas as they battle a succubi invasion, and a few other nasties along the way.

I just found out this morning that it's going to be a May '09 release, but stay tuned to my website, because I'll have excerpts (and chances to win ARCs).

May 09 that's great, of course we'd like to read it now. :)

Hi Ruby - I'm so glad you stopped by.

Jill- Right. This is a I-can't-put-it-down kind of book. The best kind.

Angie posted this on the first blog post and just in case anyone missed it, well read and smile.

Correction to what I told Jill above: The next Demon Slayer book is coming out in May '09. My editor told me this morning that they're pushing it back a month and making it the lead title for May.

But I'll be sure to give Vicki and ARC or two before the release, so maybe you can win a copy here. :)

How cool is that!!!
