So, as V said, we are heading to RT tonight. And can I tell you as of right this minute I have yet to pack one thing. My toes need to be painted. I need to find the 3 books I want to take to be signed and oh yeah, I need to put gas in the car. WHEW.
Where did the time go?!
I get it we live in FL and Orlando is less than 2 hours away, but really…not packed. Personally I’m of the belief that going away for a weekend is worse than going away for a week to a far away destination.
Not sure why that is and if someone wants to give me their theories I will certainly listen with very open ears.
Oh and another thing – the house is a mess. And I feel very compelled to clean it—which, is so not going to happen. HHB and princess will be home, but there is a part of me that knows they won’t do anything. I had to start a list of items they had to get at the store because they won’t think about T-P if I don’t tell them we are out.
Goodness will we even make it in time?
Got any suggestions to help my anxiety level go down? Le me know.

L, I started packing last night and really I'm not even sure what I threw in the suitcase.
Totally true about the weekend vs. the week thing for me too. I'll take way too much stuff for this and yet probably won't feel like I have what I really want.
Crazy!!! Still, we'll be on the road in a few more hours and all will be good. Why? Because girl, we know how to shop if we miss something. Okay, we shop even if we don't forget anything. Heehee
Vicki certainly has the right idea. I just throw my favorite shoes, pjs, jeans, etc. in my bag, make sure have the appropriate tickets, and my credit card. Whatever I forget I can buy. As far as my house goes; it doesn't matter if I leave it spotless, it is always a wreck when I return. I quit trying to get every thing perfect a long time ago. Just take a deep breathe and have tons of fun.
Your house will be a wreck when you come home anyway, so just clean when you get home. Hope y'all have a blast in Orlando! I agree it's harder to pack for a weekend then a full week.
