I'm back, no Really I am & David Cook- Music of the Night

I know I’ve been MIA for the last week, however it was for a very good reason. The first pass on AT&B is finished!! WhooHoo! As it stands right now, it is 109,000 words and I’m still in chapter six of the last pass. I’m working on the synopsis for real this time. I’ve made plot points from each chapter and I’ll write it from that. Of course, then I’ll write it again, shortening it. :)

Last week’s winner is jilljames!! Email me at vickilanewrites at yahoo.com with your snail mail addy and I’ll get it out to you.

Now, for those of you watching AI, you saw this last night. I thought David Cook was amazing. He is definitely one of my favorites. I’ve loved how he’s taken each genre and did it rock. So naturally when they were doing Andrew Lloyd Weber last night, I was wondering how he would do that. Guess what? He didn’t. He sang the song just as it was written. Well as they change it to make the time work.

At any rate, I was completely blown away by it and thought you might like to hear the rocker dude sing the Music of the Night. Enjoy.

Your turn. Are you watching AI or any other show that you’re rooting for someone whether you vote or not? How was your writing week? Reading week?

The contest will be back on next week.

WW’s and PD’s,
Vicki

Well I don't get to watch TV as much as I use to mainly due to writing and the cable bill is so flipping high (sorry rant is over now) I did manage to add 3k to my Cursed rewrites and even added to Bounty Hunter. I am trying to submit Cursed by May 1st So I really need to get on it.

Yay on the great progress!

I'm not watching AI (never have I seen an episode), but I need to catch up on DWTS this season! I've been so behind on everything...

Far as week, fast! Objectives, met! Survived, I think. Blog up with updated report, done.
Sigh, tomorrow is Monday.

Oh does rooting for the Ghost Hunters count? Not a contest unless you say its them against the ghosts, and I am not sure how they keep score or how Simon would critique there performance.

I must confess AI is one of my guilty little pleasures, but they keep voting off all my favorites--I really liked Carlie and Amanda, and Michael Johns was hot.
