The party this weekend was fabulous. I’ll post some pics and tell you a little more tomorrow. I know I said we’d start the weekly check in this week, but due to the craziness of last week, I’ll start them next Tuesday. So keep your word counts starting today to turn in next week.
A small bit of housekeeping, I still have not heard anything from the winner of the last contest. So, a new winner has been randomly chosen. And the person is….Hawk! Whoohoo, email me your snail mail addy and I’ll get the book out to you.
Okay now that’s done, let’s get on to new stuff.
This week’s contest is Kerrelyn Sparks book, The Undead Next Door.
Here’s the backcover blurb:
Three signs that something is very different with your new man:
1. He sleeps all day . . . which would be annoying except he's so attentive at night.
2. He's attacked by sword-wielding assailants, yet insists he can handle it on his own.
3. He never seems to age.
Heather Westfield has always lived a quiet life, but that all changes when she helps a very handsome, very mysterious stranger. There's something not quite right about Jean-Luc, but still, she's never been with a man so charming, so attractive . . . so wonderful. Now if only a murderous villain wasn't after them, they might get their happily-ever-after.
You can go here for an excerpt.
As always leave your comments all week long to be entered to win.

The Undead Next Door sounds really good. Glad your Mom's party went so well. Can't wait to see the pictures.
This is my favorite genre to read, also would be a new author for me! Sounds great.
Vicki,
I WON!!! AWESOME!!! I'll give you my snail mail this weekend at the retreat.
Oh, the next book looks good too! Gosh girl - you do keep me coming back!
big hugs
Hawk
I forgot to say - are you going to come back to my blog and tell us about your ghost story? You said you had one but then didn't share it - the title of this weeks blog was "SEPTEMBER, THE MONTH OF SHARING"
We expect you to SHARE the story. That means you have to tell it.
Come on back - you're not done yet!
Hugs
Hawk
Thank you all for dropping by! And congratulations, Hawk!
I live in the Houston area, but things are slowly getting back to normal. I lost my computer and had to get a new one-- not such a big thing since my poor mom lost her house!
Take care!
Kerrelyn
