Okay, so on the sidebar is a subscribe to VickiLaneNews. Sign up and you’ll be entered into a secret prize drawing on March 1st.
For those of you who have already signed up, you’re entered, so no worries. And thank you.
Then sometime in March (I’m working on it now) you’ll receive the first quarterly newsletter. LKap will have a ramble (or rant), news of upcoming contest, must check out blogs, and more. There’ll even be a contest for those on the newsletter list only. Come on, you know you don’t want to miss that. :)
So, in honor of the first ever VickiLaneNews, tell me what you’d like to see in a quarterly newsletter.
For those who leave a comment and join (or if you leave a comment and have already joined), you’ll be entered twice. :D I know, bribery.
WW’s and PD’s,
Vicki

What do I like in a newsletter? Hmm well contests, they are always good. What you are working on? Maybe even reminders of what you have out currently? I am a new to you reader, and this would be a way for me to discover your material! (Yes, I know. I can check you site :D LOL)
In newsletters, I like to read about works in progress, contests, whatever the author wants to share.
I concur. What you are working on, how things are going with what you're working on, authors or books that you currently enjoy that we might like too, hmmmm..... whatever else you may like to let us know. Its not like you can't change it up if you don't like something. Laurie needs to input too.
Thanks guys, these are all great ideas. Like I said in the post, I'm working on the first one now and it'll be out sometime in March. I can't wait to read what LKap puts in it.
Contests, whats coming up, whats new right now, excerpts are a few things.
Oh yea I'll have my .02 in the newsletter :-)
V won't let me off that easy
I like newsletters that come out just before a book is released. I mean days before so it's still fresh in my mind. Short newsletters. A little about the upcoming book, a contest exclusive to the newsletter, and maybe a little about what is coming in the future.
I maybe should have mentioned that I've been signed up for your newsletter but as lynda98662@...
