Thursday Thirteen

Since this is my first Thursday Thirteen I thought I’d start with something easy.
Thirteen Ways to Avoid Writing

1. Reading emails from all the loops I belong to.

2. Responding to all the emails from the same loops

3. Reading blogs

4. The day job

5. Favorite TV shows – yes, I have TV but couldn’t miss Hero’s, could I?

6. Discovered J R Ward – can I say OMG…love her books

7. Contest Coordinator for my local chapter

8. Contest Judge for my local chapter

9. Okay, judging extra packets from my local chapter since one of my judges had to cancel.

10. Doing a quick recheck of the blogs – I might have missed something really important.

11. Checking my chapter loop – again. We have such a great chapter loop.

12. Must call a few people and talk about how I can’t find enough time to write.

13. Shopping – so I really was going to just pick up one thing but hey Nationals is almost here. I need stuff.

Got your own Thursday Thirteen?

LOL That's why the computer I write on is not hooked up to the internet. I wouldn't get anything done otherwise. *g*

Thanks for stopping by.

It's so true. Since I have a laptop and it's wireless I got the internet everywhere I go now. :) Not always a good thing.

I have found that best writing time is when I use my Quick Pad. That's all I can do on it is write.

Definite distractions--I could while away my whole day doing this kind of stuff. Particularly the blog hopping.

Hi Alyssa!!

It's so true. I love all the blogs I read but they take so much of my time. :)

There are just so many ways to procrastinate, ain't there? Sometimes I wonder how I get any work done, :)

And the one place that we need to finish that wip is also the one place that can get us in trouble when it comes to procrastination.

Loved your blog. I'm glad you stopped by!

Welcome to TT!!

Sure wish I could be at the TARA meeting tomorrow, but I'm here in C.R. until July.

Thanks Erica!!

Are you leaving from there for Nationals?

I'm trying to find a place for everyone from TARA to meet up one of the days. Cheryl thought it would be great if we could do that. So far I haven't found anything, if you know of anywhere let me know.

We'll miss you at the meeting.

Every procrastination you have I think I was part of especially #'s 4,6,7,8,9,12,13 - 13 was major huh? So much for that budget for Nationals. . .LOL
Miranda sends her love too ;-)
She also wanted me to remind you no more excuses it's time to start writing again. Oh - maybe that was aimed toward me ;-D
Laurie

Um, Laurie, hmmm...we are usually shopping together. :) But then you are the best cp in the world. And I still try to think of shopping as somewhat research. Your muse loves to shop. Always she talks to you when we shop. :D

As for the rest of them. Yep. But the contest is over. Mostly.

Hi Miranda - love you too and I'm writing again. I promise.

Really, you don't tell Miranda no. She's this, well she's, hmmm...okay I can't tell you who she is just yet. You'll have to read it when Laurie's book comes out. Trust me when I say she's not someone you want to say no too. :)
